Tasting notes

Very bright and deep ruby red. Red fruits, such as strawberry and raspberry, in perfect harmony with secondary aromas from the barrel. The wood perfectly respects the evolution of the aromas of the wine. A balanced wine that is very subtle with a great aromatic freshness. A fresh attack, silky, very thin, with elegant and round tannins with long persistence and round tannins. A very harmoniously balanced, elegant wine. The tannins delicately complete the aromatic range but never with excess. We discover in this wine a multitude of perfumed aromatic ranges while at the same time possessing a beautiful structure without being heavy.

Vineyard notes

July 2010 was colder than normal, which delayed the onset of sprouting for 10 days. From September to January it continued to be colder than average. We had less average sunshine per day in December and January, which allowed it to have a lot of freshness, good acidity and great tannin elegance. February brought warm and sunny weather, which was very useful to ensure good phenolic maturation in late ripening varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, and Carmenere. March and April brought some rain and clouds that allowed a slow ripening of the fruit. In short, it was a cool year with more rainfall than normal and poor performance. As a result, the wine has a great color, a very present acidity, a good fruit intensity and a good balance.
